Princess Gardens was born in 2010 as a way for founder; Alyssia Richardson, to spend more time with her little one. Over the years she found joy in teaching others how to start their own gardens at home. Fast forward to 2018; Princess Gardens opened up in Denver, CO as a composting and educational center.
Vermicomposting is the process of using worms to decompose organic waste, such as food scraps and paper, into nutrient-rich compost. It’s important for the environment because it reduces the amount of organic waste sent to landfills, decreases methane emissions, and produces a valuable fertilizer that enriches soil health and promotes plant growth. By harnessing the power of worms, vermicomposting offers a sustainable solution to waste management while also improving soil quality and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
